How to do cable crossover

Using cables can help you maintain muscle tension. If cable workouts aren't available, try substituting with any fly-type exercise.

Start Position

1. Position yourself at the center of the cable crossover machine with the pulleys set at chest height.

2. Hold the cable handles using an overhand grip, ensuring your palms face each other.

Proper Form

1. Pull your arms inward and across your chest, ensuring you squeeze your shoulder blades together while keeping your arms extended.

2. Return to the initial position and continue to repeat.

Breathing Technique

1. Take a deep breath before initiating the exercise.

2. Exhale as you pull your arms inward and across your chest.

Precautions

1. Keep your back straight throughout the exercise.

2. Avoid excessive upper body movement to prevent straining your back.

3. Ensure your arms remain straight during the exercise.
