How to do kettlebell goblet squat

Coach's Tips

Hold the kettlebell close to your chest as you perform the squat.

Start Position

1. Grip a kettlebell by its handles with both hands, keeping it near your chest.

2. Stand upright with your feet spaced shoulder-width apart.

3. Maintain a tight core and neutral spine posture.

Proper Form

1. Bend your knees and push your hips back to gradually lower the kettlebell, mimicking a sitting motion.

2. Keep your chest elevated, back straight, and core activated.

3. Continue lowering until your thighs are parallel with the floor and your elbows are positioned between your knees.

4. Press through your heels to rise back to the original stance.

Breathing Technique

1. Breathe in as you squat down.

2. Breathe out as you stand back up.

Precautions

1. Ensure your back remains straight and your core is engaged throughout the exercise.

2. Avoid letting your knees extend beyond your toes.

3. Focus on pushing your hips back while keeping your back from rounding.

4. Stop if you feel any discomfort or pain.
