How to do wide stance dumbbell squat

Coach's Tips

Perform a squat with your legs positioned wide apart while holding dumbbells.

Start Position

1. Position your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width, with toes angled outward.

2. Grip a pair of dumbbells and hold them in front of your shoulders, palms facing inward.

3. Maintain a straight back, protrude your chest, and engage your core.

Proper Form

1. Shift your hips backward and bend your knees to lower down as much as possible, keeping your chest elevated and back straight.

2. Concentrate your weight in your heels and thrust upwards to return to the initial stance.

Breathing Technique

1. Breathe in as you descend and exhale as you rise back to the original position.

Precautions

1. Avoid allowing your knees to tilt inward.

2. Keep your core engaged and prevent your lower back from rounding.

3. Ensure your knees do not surpass your toes.

4. Do not let your head tilt forward.
