Coach's Tips

This bodyweight exercise aims at the lower chest and can be done using common items like chairs, desks, and bed frames.

Start Position

1. Start by kneeling on an elevated platform like a box, bench, or step.

2. Position your hands on the elevated surface, slightly wider than shoulder-width.

3. Extend your legs backward, keeping a straight line from head to heels.

Proper Form

1. Bend your elbows to lower your chest towards the elevated platform.

2. Press upwards to return to the initial position.

3. Repeat the motion.

Breathing Technique

1. Exhale while lowering your chest to the elevated surface.

2. Inhale when pushing upwards to the starting position.

Precautions

1. Maintain a straight body line throughout the exercise.

2. Keep elbows close to the body, avoiding outward flaring.

3. Avoid letting your hips sag or lift as you perform the movement.
