How to do box kettlebell squat

Coach's Tips

-

Start Position

1. Stand with your feet placed a bit wider than shoulder-width, with your toes slightly angled outward.

2. Hold the kettlebell using both hands, positioned in front of your chest.

3. Keep a straight back, your chest lifted, and your shoulders rolled back.

Proper Form

1. Initiate the movement by bending your knees and gently lowering your body into a squat.

2. Maintain your weight on your heels, keep your chest lifted and ensure your back remains straight.

3. Lower your body as much as comfortably possible, then push through your heels to rise back to the starting stance.

Breathing Technique

1. Breathe in deeply as you descend into the squat, and exhale as you push back to the initial position.

Precautions

1. Ensure your back remains straight, avoiding any shoulder rounding.

2. Prevent your knees from collapsing inward.

3. Avoid exceeding a 90-degree bend at the knees.
