How to do high knee skips

Coach's Tips

This exercise is great for working your entire body and is excellent for calorie burning. The more you maintain a broad stance, the more calories you'll burn!

Start Position

1. Ensure your core is engaged throughout to maintain proper posture.

2. Keep your chest lifted, avoiding any leaning forward or backward.

3. Do not lock your knees as you land.

Proper Form

1. Raise your right knee towards your chest with your arms bent at a 90-degree angle.

2. As you raise your right knee, move your left arm forward and right arm back.

3. Land on your left foot and immediately repeat with the other leg.

Breathing Technique

1. Inhale deeply as you bring your knee up to your chest.

2. Exhale while landing on the opposite foot.

Precautions

1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and arms bent at a 90-degree angle.

2. Keep your head and chest up while engaging your core.
