How to do ezbar preacher curl

Coach's Tips

This exercise targets the biceps using an EZ bar while seated on a preacher bench, allowing you to concentrate on enhancing your bicep strength.

Start Position

1. Maintain a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement.

2. Avoid using momentum to swing the bar upward.

3. Refrain from locking your elbows at the top of the movement.

4. Lower the bar in a controlled manner.

Proper Form

1. Exhale gently as you curl the bar upwards towards your shoulders.

2. At the peak of the movement, squeeze your biceps before gradually lowering the bar to its initial position.

Breathing Technique

1. Inhale as you lower the bar to the starting position.

2. Exhale while curling the bar upwards towards your shoulders.

Precautions

1. Sit on a preacher bench with an EZ-Bar in hand, holding the bar at arm's length with slightly bent elbows.

2. Rest your upper arms on the preacher bench pad, keeping your wrists in a neutral position.
