How to do dumbbell walking lunge

Coach's Tips

Hold dumbbells while walking and performing lunges.

Start Position

1. Begin by standing up straight with feet aligned with your hips, holding a dumbbell in each hand.

2. Slightly bend your knees and engage your core.

Proper Form

1. Move one foot forward, lowering your body until both knees form right angles.

2. Push off from your front foot and move the other foot forward, continuing the action.

3. Keep stepping forward for the specified number of steps.

Breathing Technique

1. Breathe out as you lower your body and breathe in as you move forward.

2. Ensure a consistent breathing rhythm during the exercise.

Precautions

1. Ensure your front knee does not pass your toes.

2. Keep your chest elevated and back straight throughout.

3. Move slowly, maintaining control over the dumbbells.
