How to do back extension machine

Coach's Tips

This is an excellent exercise to enhance the strength of your lower back muscles. Ensure you maintain correct posture while keeping your lower back muscles engaged!

Start Position

1. Position yourself on the back extension machine with your feet securely on the platform.

2. Grasp the handles, keeping your back straight and your head aligned neutrally.

Proper Form

1. Initiate the movement by gently leaning your torso forward until you achieve a 90-degree angle.

2. Extend your torso back to the starting position while ensuring your back remains straight and your head is neutrally aligned.

3. Continue this motion for the required number of repetitions.

Breathing Technique

1. Exhale as you lower your torso, and inhale as you return to the upward position.

Precautions

1. Ensure your back stays straight during the entire exercise to prevent injury.

2. Avoid arching your back as you lift.

3. Refrain from using abrupt movements or momentum to perform the exercise.
