How to do kettlebell lunge

Coach's Tips

Perform lunges while holding a kettlebell.

Start Position

1. Stand with your feet as wide apart as your hips, each hand holding a kettlebell.

2. Keep your abdominal muscles tight, chest lifted, and spine straight.

Proper Form

1. Take a step forward with one leg, lowering your body into a lunge position.

2. Ensure your front knee is over your ankle and your back knee is close to, but not touching, the floor.

3. Push off with your front foot to return to your original position.

4. Perform the same movement with the other leg.

Breathing Technique

1. Breathe out as you step forward and lower your body.

2. Breathe in as you push back and return to the starting position.

Precautions

1. Maintain core tightness and a straight back throughout the exercise.

2. Refrain from arching your back or slumping your shoulders.

3. Proceed slowly, focusing on maintaining correct form.
